How To Create An Authentic Brand

Establishing Brand Authenticity gives your brand recognition and also establishes trust.

Your brand can establish authenticity through consistency of how you engage with your customer, how you make them feel, and your level of service. An error some startups and business owners make is that they see the brand of their business as a distinct workflow to their reputation.

Brand and reputation must be viewed together and thus be treated as complementary sides of the same coin. Besides the product or service that your brand offers, your brand is also selling an opportunity for your customer to feel a certain way. The majority of purchase decisions are based on emotion and so my question to you would be,

what emotion or feeling are you selling?

Ensuring that you are communicating earnestly and delivering on the brand promise will establish trust with your customers which creates Brand Authenticity.

Think about some of the world’s most recognized brands. Think about a brand you are fond of. What makes them feel authentic to you? How do those brands make you feel?
